Loner

First of all: Scandinavia and the Worlds belongs of course to ! SatW is brilliant! Therefore the Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Spain and Third Reich characters belong to her.
I made up France (at least I've never seen him before), The Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation and Sister-Switzerland.

I was showing a friend the SatW comics and although she liked them a lot she complained a little that there is so much about America and so less about the rest of Europe. One of her ideas was to use Switzerland, who had never participated in any war. Then I remembered that my mother once said that the Swiss have a lot of dishes with cheese, because they had those long winters and therefore a lot of time to come up with meals (e.g. fondue). Well this reminded me of [[link]] and finally the idea of this comic was born. I hope you like it. Of course there is someone Swiss has a good relationship to – remember the Swiss Guard – but I thought it might be too mean to enter it.

The first panel shows the 30 Years war. The Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation looks at his chest because of the big religion conflict between Protestants and Catholics. This encouraged the neighbours to try and steal land from the Empire (Spain the Spanish Netherlands, both, Sweden and Denmark, wanted the northern Germany states, therefore they also look at each other reminding of this comic [[link]] and France felt like being driven into the corner). Switzerland thought said it was neutral and I read once that they send freelancers to the other countries.

First World War the same. Everyone was fighting but everyone was too afraid to attack Switzerland (best defence) and Switzerland didn’t want to enter the war.

During the Second World War Hitler thought of attacking Switzerland (Money Money Money) but did not in the end.

I hope you like it. (Wow... there is a lot of red in there... O.o) Never drew chibis before. Never coloured this much on the computer. Never did a comic before. Was working nearly 10 hours without a break – just noticing now. *dizzy* A lot of respect to all comic-strip artists!
